School Improvement Council Goals
As part of our ongoing process of Improvement, our school renewal committees developed performance goals to guide future growth.
· By Spring 2030, High Hills Elementary School will improve ELA achievement by increasing the percentage of students scoring in the “Meets” or “Exceeds” categories on SC Ready ELA by at least 3 percentage points each year. Progress toward this goal will be monitored through interim MAP Reading assessments to inform instruction and guide intervention efforts.
· By Spring 2030, High Hills Elementary School will improve Math achievement by increasing the percentage of students scoring in the “Meets” or “Exceeds” categories on SC Ready Math by at least 3 percentage points each year. Progress toward this goal will be monitored through interim MAP Reading assessments to inform instruction and guide intervention efforts.
· Spring of 2030, High Hills Elementary School will increase the percentage of highly qualified certified teachers to 100% and maintain 100% by providing relevant professional development. Progress will be monitored using feedback surveys and the yearly percentage of certified staff.- Current Percentage is 92%
· By the Spring of 2030, High Hills Elementary School will increase the overall points earned on the school climate section of the school report card by 0.5 points each year. Progress will be monitored through quarterly climate surveys, and success will be measured by an increase in total points earned in the school climate section of the report card.- 2025 School Climate Report Card 6.39/10.
